i don't think you're really causing your body that much harm with your unhealthy foods, since it's not like you're eating a box of donuts and 5 servings of chinese food on your unhealthy days. you just have one indulgent meal. so i'd say you're feeling bad because your body prefers your healthy meals. perhaps little indulgences throughout the week would suit you better--like a cookie or a frozen cornmeal pizza (you can get them at whole foods, if you live near one...they're soo yummy and healthier than normal pizza)

Aluminum foil in my food!?

Help, I made some pasta salad the other night and covered it with foil. Today I looked and there were tiny little holes in the top of the foil. I didn't think much of it (I thought they were coffee grounds my mom had spilled, they looked like little black spots.) I ate some today but I thought it was kind of dry, so just now I went to add more sauce to it..and I noticed something. There were some aluminum foil flecks in the pasta. Also, it seems that some foil had rubbed off on the noodles.. like I don't know, some noodles had a silver coloration to them. It seems like it was just a few noodles and veggies on the surface and I spot-removed the noodles that looked like they had a problem, but now I'm worried. What if I ate some of the tainted noodles without noticing before? What if there' still some aluminum lurking in my pasta? :( Has anyone had this problem before?

So, of course I have pretty much fallen for this guy pretty deeply. I am a 19 year old male, I weigh 165 pounds currently and I am about 5'11''. I have a fitness evaluation on Feb 5th to try and get a spot with the Washington State Patrol to become a trooper. To successfully p the evaluation I have to be able to run 1.5 miles in 12 minutes and 29 seconds, I also will be required to complete 29 push ups in one minute and 38 sit ups in one minute. Currently I am able to do the running challenge in about 14 minutes and I can complete the sit ups in the time alloted. I'm working on the push ups but these are slightly more challenging for me (lol) so basically my question is what is the best training method to be able to reach these goals in a little under a month? Currently Ive just been running the 1.5 once a day but have not seen a significant time increase.. Any information is greatly appreciated :)

My staffy just had an operation. HELP!!!?

Hey there. So my staffy who will be two on September wasn't acting her usual self and just to be on the safe side my parents took her our emegeny pdsa and they took her in for the night. they phoned us later on that night saying something showed up in her stomach on the x-ray so they told us they had to cut her open and see what was inside her stomach so they did so. After the operation it turns our what was in her stomach was... Gas! now my baby has a very large scar all down her belly and she's never been the sameeee. She got the op about one and ahalf weeks ago. Anyways my problem is not that im raging bcos they cut her up to find she just needed to fart :S is went to the pdsa and out of curiousity I asked if she had pups in the future, could the scar burst or will she be able to Carry them you know... And the vet started shouting at me and began trailing on about how I shouldn't breed her. I DONT WANT TO BREED HER! She's just a puppy herself but when she kept going on in got me worried cos other vets have advised me to let her atleast have one litter. And others said get her spayed. Can, in time, my baby be affected? Will she be ok? and when will she return back to her oldself now....? Btw, the vet said that on their computers it says phoebs was spayed but she's not! She went on heat an bled, can she still be spayed without my parents knowing from previous owners? Should I do anything about the fact that they cut my dog up for nothing ect ect? Question About Clomid?

I took Clomid on cycle days 5-9. I got a + OPK on August 9th. So DH and I BD on Ovulation morning and the morning after, with the help of preseed. About 4-5 days later I got what felt like super mild period cramps, like an ache. After that day I got really sore and , my CM did increase but in bursts ( sorry if TMI), I get hot and cold flashes, and am usually yawning ready for a nap about 4 hours after I wake up, and now I am 15dpo and i dont know when Im expecting my period because of the clomid, and I dont know if it's worth it to test? Research project idea involving an octopus and other invertebrates?

I am in an Invertebrate Biology cl and I need to do a research project. I am eventually going into marine biology, so I would love to do my project on an octopus, and possibly other marine invertebrates. However, I have no idea what kind of research I should do. Crockpot chicken help!?

I always have a hard time with my crock pot - it seems to always dry everything out. So I was supposed to put a whole chicken in the crockpot for 8 - 10 hours on low. I forgot about it, so by 10:30 I had it in the crockpot, turned it on high to get it started for 1 1/2 hours, then turned it on low. It has now been in there for 5 1/2 hours and I used a meat thermometer and avoiding the bone, it says it's at 170 degrees already! (180 is when it's done). Is that right? Do crockpots register temperature properly? Augh! it's only 3:00 - NOT time for a chicken dinner!

You can let them close naturally and up makeup over the lobes until they do. I don't think that infecting them is the best course, because it could cause other problems, and may not close them, just make them swollen and leak puss. Infected ears also really hurt, and make up doesn't. Put concealer on the hole to make it look closed, then put foundation to make it match your skin and look natural. You could always use cheap metal, or something you're allergic to on it, I suppose.

I bought some camo tape for my shotgun for duck hunting. I am not sure of how to put it on correctly. Get a dehumidifier. Even if you are in the woods, the mold is going to be most concentrated indoors. Outside it will be much less concentrated in the air because it settles or if the wind takes it it spreads it out very thin. You may also consider having your house checked for mold. There is much info on the net about how to get rid of mold in your home. Chances are, since your home is in the woods, it has gotten into your home somehow. Just my guess, I'm no doctor, but I have mold allergies as well. You have my sympathies.

I can't say about others. For me, it is mainly for the benefit of English speaking people. They have quite difficult time pronouncing it correctly so I have to westernize the pronunciation. So there is no point of keeping it. I do use my given name with family and friends.

Nope, which is probably why they are only theories. I would say that the needs of many individuals regarding communities are in fact for the individual (disguised personal gain). The individual in a community has needs and in some places the individual needs the support of the community for personal gain. The community likewise needs the support of the individual. You can be both - I'm all for personal gain but I also support community. It like you need both, unless you are completely self-sufficient (looks around - anyone? anyone?).

8 week old eating enough?

My baby just turned 8 weeks and I don't think she's eating enough...she takes on average 2-3 ounces per feeding. I can count on my hand the number of times she has taken over 4 ounces. She has acid reflux and had projectile vomiting from birth to one and a half months. She has been spitting up and occasionally vomits now. my question is do you think she is eating enough? She eats every 3 hours or so during the day and about every 4 hours at night. I really have to fight with her to get her to finish any bottle. It seems like she has no appetite after she finishes half her bottle! She is peeing plenty of diapers and pooping once a day on average (large). She seems to be gaining weight too. Honestly Hun it sounds like your girlfriend is not pregnant. Having that early in her cycle will probably result in the sperm dying before she actually gets a chance to ovulate. Her cycle could get a little messed up too from going on the pill, all very normal to have it out of whack for a while. Sweetie, just play it safe if you don't want an unplanned pregnancy just yet, keep him bagged or just wait a couple of weeks till she is safe :-) Some women who are in tune with there body, know when they are ovulating just by watching changes in discharge, she has obviously done this. Although sometimes it can be misleading especially introducing a change to her cycle such as the pill. I'm sure the bleeding today that she has had is just a light period. Generally you don't get implantation bleeding until the egg burrows into the wall of the uterus, at that stage it is already fertilized. Usually a couple of days after fertilization it will then implant itself. Good luck though and all the best, if you are worried, get her to take a test when she is expecting her next period if they are late. Good luck tho.
