Soon to be mother in law?

I just read a post about the awful mother in law. And I feel like im in the same boat as alot of these other people. I live with my soon to be mother in law. Im thankful for all the stuff the woman has done and thankful that she watches my child when I go to work. And I do pay her so Its not like Im using her for a free babysitter. My only concern with her is she thinks my parenting skills are low. She Believes that everything she does is better then what im doing.. My biggest thing is my child is 2 and still sucking on his pacifier. I weened him off it awhile ago but then I came home one day and there he was with it. And when I confront her about the Issue She says that its normal for them to have them. And that her childrean had them until 3 and half. And I keep telling her. This is my child and I dont want him sucking on something he doesnt need. My biggest concern is he bites the now and theyeve been tearing. And I dont want him chocking on the nipple. Am I just going Nuts
