Research project idea involving an octopus and other invertebrates?

I am in an Invertebrate Biology cl and I need to do a research project. I am eventually going into marine biology, so I would love to do my project on an octopus, and possibly other marine invertebrates. However, I have no idea what kind of research I should do. Does anyone have any ideas? Of course I do not want to harm any of the animals, but I think it would be fascinating to devise some sort of project to learn more about the creatures. I also have to present my findings to the Palmer Research Symposium in April, so I would like my project to be very well done. If anyone has any advice or ideas, it would be greatly appreciated!
