the wheat bran is not a good substrate, as said above, something that is non particle, the temps should be higher, basking should be around 105-110 for an adult, the air temp on hot side about 85-90 and cool side 75-80ish...at night it's ok if the temps drop to no lower than 65*. a 40 breeder is the minimum an adult beardie should be in...his diet as an adult should still include protein (20%) the only worms he should have as a staple would be silkworms, supers you can do as a treat and stay away from mealworms. roaches are a great staple if he wont do crickets, but he does need the protein from somewhere!
