If we were intelligently designed, why do we have an inefficient reproductive system...?

By making reproduction inefficient, God ures that we must have lots of to reproduce ourselves. And that, in turn, increases the number of times we have s and say "Oh, God! Oh, God!" Which, of course, pleases God.
