On Adele's album cover for 21, why is her right cheekbone so bony?

I looked at the album cover, and I ume you mean her left cheekbone, which is the one on the right side of the cover? I think it is just the lighting and the fact she has her head tipped to one side, making one cheek look fuller than the other. One cheek looks fat, so I don't think they are trying to make her look skinny.
